Computing in Cardiology
(formerly Computers in Cardiology)
Since its beginnings, CinC has always offered researchers a forum for discussing their most recent findings with an interested and well-informed audience. CinC is a unique venue for learning about ongoing, active research.
The New and Noteworthy Poster Session, offered for the first time this year, provides an opportunity for CinC attendees to hear about the most important results of ongoing and recently concluded research obtained by their colleagues during the weeks and months immediately before the conference.
If you have registered to attend CinC 2010, you may submit an abstract and a separate, properly formatted, full paper no later than 12 September for possible inclusion in the New and Noteworthy Poster Session. Note that this deadline is one week earlier than the deadline for all other submissions, to permit time for review of New and Noteworthy submissions.
To make a submission, follow the instructions for submitting an abstract and for submitting a separate final paper, using the New and Noteworthy Poster submission form on the CinC abstract and paper collection site.
To be accepted, your submission must be of exceptional merit, and it must report on noteworthy research performed after the regular abstract deadline (1 May). Submissions will be reviewed throughout the summer, and up to 10 of the best will be selected for presentation. Once the session is filled, any later submissions will not be reviewed.
If your submission has been accepted for the New and Noteworthy Poster Session, you will be notified no later than 19 September. Your accepted abstract will be posted in the on-line scientific program. Depending on the date of acceptance, it may be possible to include it in the printed abstract book, but this cannot be guaranteed. All papers presented at CinC 2010, including New and Noteworthy papers, will be included in Computing in Cardiology 2010 on CD and in the CinC Papers On-line archive.
If your submission is not accepted, please consider resubmitting it for CinC 2011.
